DJ Frank

Service Advisor

DJ began working in the automotive industry in 2001 for his Dad at Franks Auto Service. He started out cleaning the shop, working his way up to service porter, technician and now service advisor. DJ is following in his father’s footsteps and has an eye on the future of Franks Auto Service. DJ loves spending time with his family traveling and is an avid snowboarder. DJ is a San Francisco Giants fan.

Drew Hopkins

Service Advisor

Drew began working in the automotive industry in 2010 and has built his career around delivering exceptional customer service and keeping operations running smoothly. He enjoys helping customers understand their vehicle needs and making the repair process as seamless as possible. Drew joined Frank’s Auto Service in 2026 and brings over a decade of experience in fast-paced service environments.

Fun Fact: Drew was born in Newfoundland, Canada and raised in Melbourne, Australia. When he’s not at the shop, he’s an avid motorsports enthusiast and enjoys racing his car any chance he gets.

Trent Courtney

Service Advisor

Trent began working in the automotive industry in 2001 in Charlotte NC which is his hometown. He was originally attracted to this field with his knack of mechanical ability. He started as an entry level technician up through electrical technician. Later in his career he gravitated towards being a customer care specialist, working his way through service writer, store manager, general manager, and business operations. Trent has been with Frank’s Auto Service since 2017 and is an integral part of our team. He enjoys hiking and biking with his wife and two children, also can be found on the golf links. Trent is an avid Georgia Bulldog and Carolina Panther fan.

Kenneth Wilson

Service Expeditor

Kenneth began working in the automotive industry in 2019 for Frank’s Auto Service. He retired from UPS and wanted to continue working in a field that was customer oriented. Kenneth has been a great addition to our team with his customer service and logistics skill set. Kenneth enjoys spending his time with family and traveling. Kenneth is a Golden State Warrior fan.

Darryl Haynes

ASE Master Technician

Darryl began working in the automotive industry in 1976 pumping gas in Walnut Creek. He was attracted to this field for his love of muscle cars and wanting to make them go faster. He also loves the diagnostic challenge that new vehicles bring. He started out as an entry level technician and worked his way up to an ASE Master level technician. Darryl has been with Franks Auto Service since 2007 and is a valuable member or our team. Darryl is an avid Mountain biker and is a San Francisco Giants fan.

Anthony Smith

ASE Master Technician

Anthony began working in the automotive industry in 2012 in Hayward Ca as an express lube technician. He has become an ASE certified technician and working his way to Master Level. He got into Automotive repair for the love of performance cars. He enjoys trying to figure out problems with different vehicles and being able to solve them. Anthony has been with Franks Auto Service since 2020 and is an important part of the team. Anthony loves fitness and staying active.

Doug Zugnoni

ASE Master Technician

Doug began working in the automotive industry in 2010 when he feel in love with Toyota trucks. He gained this passion from the first time he watched Back to the Future and saw Marty McFly’s Toyota truck. Since then, Doug has continued to grow his knowledge for cars and gain a lot of experience in hard to diagnoses electrical concerns. With Doug’s wealth of knowledge of drivability concerns and overall repair of vehicles, he is a valued member of Franks Auto Service and has been with us since 2024. When you can’t find Doug at the shop he is often traveling, camping or just out 4 wheeling. Doug is an avid Bay Area fan and enjoys The Niners and Giants.

Charles Gephart

ASE Technician

Charles began working in the automotive industry in 2021 and joined Franks Auto Service in 2024. Charles has done well for himself with his motivation to eventually becoming an A level Master Certified Technician. Charles is originally from “The Motor City” Detroit where his passion for cars first began. He loves working on stereo systems, exhaust systems and tuning vehicles. Charles is well on his way to becoming a high-level technician and is a great addition to Franks Auto Service. Charles loves football and pulls for his hometown Detroit Lions.
